Terellas fish

Terellas fish are considered lucky. They are found in all the seas in of the world. They a single color with wing like fins. They live between the shallow waters around land and the bottomless deep of the ocean. Terellas fish grow to be between two and three feet long. Their fins up to a foot off their bodies. The young no matter where are completely silver. Their coloring as adults depends on where they are found. In the northern waters the Terellas are dark colors such as black, purple, blue. Their fins simmer with streaks of gold. In the southern waters their colors are red, calico and brown. Their fins have a single strip of gold running the length of each fin. Along the equator the Terellas are, white, gold, and orange. Their fins can either shimmer with rainbows of colors or have streaks of sliver running through them. Some of this coloring is due to the different food found in the different parts of the oceans. When small Terellas fish eats palankeen, then as it grows it feeds on smaller fish. Terellas mate once a year. The males finds either rock outcropping or groups a pile of broken shells. Once this is done the male calls females to them by flooding the area with pheromones. The females come and see the place that the that the males have prepared. If the female likes she mates with the male then deposits the eggs into the safety of the place the males have either found or made. The females then go, while the males watch the eggs. The male continues to call more females to him. Some male Terellas fish are known to have up to 20 females lay eggs with them. The females come back one a week to check on the eggs for the next two months. Once the Tress, as they are called when babies, began to hatch both male and female watch over the group for a week before the Tress disperse into the sea.   Sailors look for Terellas fish as they are starting new trips. It is said that the more Terellas spotted the better, easier, more profitable the trip. If there are no sightings of Terellas fish it makes sailors very wary and nervous on their trips. When fishermen pull up Terellas fish they quickly try to place them back in the water. There is a saying that if you kill a Terellas fish you will be cursed with bad luck for the next 10 years. If you save a Terellas fish’s life you will have good luck for 20 years. Seeing Terellas fish while relaxing is said to bring good luck on your next venture.
