Muka

Muka is the largest city among all the continents. Muka sits in a neutral harbor on Laflinton’s southern tip. Muka is south west of the mountain Osocana with a mountain range in between. The beginning of the town was a small fishing community. The small community fought with sickness brought on by the wetness of the land. Their crops would grow fine for a year or two then start to fail. The people would move around the bay to combat this problem. Then one year the fishes were not abundant and the people of Muka were having an especially difficult time. It is said that a large group of Terellas fish that were white and rainbow color were caught in a fishermen net in the bay. The said fishermen called for help from his fellow fishermen. The group of fishermen acted quickly to get the Terellas fish back into the water. Legend says that not one Terellas fish was lost. It was also the first the community recalled seeing the Terellas fish. After this the luck of this tiny fishing community started to change. There were metals, minerals, gems, and the harbor was found to be the safest place to be during the stormy months and the only harbor that ships could get to safely. This lead Muka to being used as a jumping off point for most of the rest of the Laflinton especially for those coming from the south from Owhua and east form Efren. Today this city sprawls from the shore hitting the hills with some homes built into and on the hills. There are a few farmers to the northwest of the harbor that are some of the most productive in the southwest of Laflinton. The name Muka comes from a shifter hero named Muka. The legend says that Muka was born on the shore in the harbor and was one of the fishermen that handled the Terellas fish to save them. In some stories it had been said that Muka picked up two Terellas at a time saving twice as many as the other fishermen.
