Horns of honesty

There are five of The Horns of honesty in the Nucrana national library in Elhil on Nucrana. The horns are made from the horn of an extinct ram that has been gone from Nucurana for 1000 years. The makers of the horns took them and fashioned them into instruments. These were used between groups for warnings, and announcing different groups of elves. There is written evidence for at least 10 different calls. The experts think that the number is higher due to the fact that the horns are seen in many books, and paintings.   The Horns of honesty are exquisitely carved with animals, plants and flowers. They also had been brightly colored. The animals and colors differ from each horn but the plant and flower are the same. The flower depicted is one that is said to make one tell the truth. Each horn is also different in size. The smaller the horn the higher the tone. Also the reverse is true, the bigger the deeper. The medium sized ones have the biggest range of the horns. Each horn had a leather harness that helped to carry the horn. Many of these leather harness have rotted or gotten lost. There is a replica of the harness displayed along with the horns and one of the lest rotted originals.   Each of the horns belonged to one of the founding families of the Nucrana Republic. The museum has five but there were ten families that helped break away from the Uska Republic. Three of the horns were given to the Nucrana national library by the families that owned them. One of the horns is being contested, the family says that it was stolen from their home. Unfortunately the family doesn’t have any written documentation and the library isn’t quite sure how it got to the library. Officials though are working on a solution for both the family and library. The last horn no one is quite sure how it got to the library. Some even think that it may be a fake.   The other five horns have been lost or are being held by their families. There are historians are continuing to see what they can find.

Nice work, overall! I see that there's a typo in your title, though. "Honesty" is missing its "t."
