Fertile Land

On the continent Efren the western half is well known for being very lush, fertile and a diverse ecosystem. There are a few cities but mostly it is villages that are devoted to the cultivation of the land. In the northwest of Efren they cultivate many different medicine plants for export. The farms in the area are extremely productive and rotate their crops every few years to help the soil retain its fertility. In the southwest they are more well known for their many fruit tree groves and Fruit vine farms. Closer to the southern coast line there are a few plants thrive there that won’t grow anywhere else in the world. Some have tried other places but the plants failed to grow. Some others tried and had growth but no fruit. There had been one success with a small cluster fruit that now also grows on a small island that is still considered in the Efren boarders. In between the Northwest and the southwest of Efren there is a central area that grows a mix of what is in the north and in the south but also has a huge industry that cultivates trees. The native trees take a long time to grow but they found a tree from Owhua grows like a weed. At first they tried to get rid of it with out success and nearly killed off their native trees. Then a farmer got the idea that if they took control of the tree by farming it and exporting it. The wood is one that is great for building and resistant to many insects. The idea worked and now there are several farms of the tree and strict planting of it. Between the three areas about 90 percent of the world’s plants grow in the area. With that there are a few that have been considered hazardous to the area and trade of it have been forbid.
