Chronometal

Chronometal was first found on an island between Nucrana and Efren. Since then it has been found all over Nucrana and Efren in many different states. Some examples are pristine while others are almost scrap pieces. Every single piece of Chronometal that has been found has some writing on it. Then the Uskarans main library was found. With in this library there were thousands examples of this chronometal.   In the Uskaranas library the metal is found in many different stages. The first stage is where the metal is blank and ready to be used either as single sheets or longer pieces to be used as scrolls. The single pieces from what has been seen was for notes. They found this out as they found several single sheets that had been written on and then what had been written had been removed. The longer sheets were joined to gather to create the long scrolls that were used for in the library. The final stage are the scrolls. The magiolgist have found that there is an extra magical piece attached to them. It is a protection spell but the magiolgist have yet to figure out the spell components or how it was cast.   Magiolgist and metal forges are trying to figure out how the Uskaranas created this metal. No successes yet.

Utility

This is used as parchment, bark, leather or clay tablets.

Manufacturing

Many metal forges and magic users during the process.
Complexity
Very complex and the process is still unknown by both the elves and shifters at this time.  The process is as the metal is being forged magic is mixed into as if it was another mineral of the metal.  Once forged the metal is good to use.  When it has reached its final product there is another magic layer placed on it.  Protecting it and what has been written on it.
Discovery
First found on a small uninhabited island between Nucrana and Efren.
