Ashronto Isle Tsunami
Off the west coast of Nucrana lies an island that is 50 miles off. Ashronto isle, as it is call, is an uninhabited extinct volcano. Now along the west coast of Nucrana there were many little towns and villages who fished the waters and cultivated the land. There is one big city called Krenshara that is closer to the base of the Kamlilta tip mountains. Nyhnas a village straight across from Ashronto and was a jumping off point for anyone that wished to visit it.
Early one clear spring morning in Nyhnas after a two weeks of continuous storms and torrential rain. The fishermen were getting ready to head out for a day of fishing when a loud long rumbling filled the air. Some looked up from their work towards the sea and saw a the Ashronto isle’s cliffs moving. The Ashronto cliff facing Nucrana slipped into the sea. The fishermen fled as they saw a huge wall of water racing towards them.
They warned as many as they could running through the towns.
Many don’t make it as the massive wave rams into the village. The waves blast over all the buildings taking everything in its path. Continued pass the village towards the hills two miles away. The wave knocking over trees as it went. Once it hit the hills it bounced back.
All along the coast north and south of Nyhnas massive waves crash into the villages towns ripping them apart. After the initial wave there were four smaller waves. Some villages and towns were completely wiped out and the people killed. Only a few from Nyhnas survived.
In the after math those that survived headed to the city of Krenshara for help. Those in Krenshara heard the noise and had noticed that Ashronto was smaller. So they sent out groups to investigate. Those groups ran into the survivors. The officials of Krenshara were shocked to hear what had happened and vowed to help them as much as they could.
This happen only a few short years ago and many of the villages and towns still are devastated. Many of the people have moved further inland or even to Krenshara.
