The Nativa (Nah-tee-vah)

Nativa is the general term used for the native people of the main continent of Centoria who were displaced as the Holy Empire expanded its territory. While once a large group with smaller subcultures hey shared many general traits that led to them being lumped together in one ethnicity. As the Holy Empire gained territory these people were forced out of their homes, put through forced religious indoctrination, and subjugated. For several generations their numbers dwindled due to a fraction of the original population from famine and disease. Overtime new, smaller settlements were founded for the Nativa, while others adopted a more nomadic lifestyle. They are still ignored or mistreated by the empire itself and now that the Empire is losing territory, they are experiencing a disruption to their lifestyle once more.
