Toma

The Toma are a unique band of nomadic travelers who move across the city in tents, occasionally settling as shop owners selling unique Maninbaran goods like Monarch crystals. These nomads have a bad reputation as thieves and uncivilized, but in reality are artisans who make their wages in selling goods in traveling shops. It does mean, however, that they’ve learnt to defend themselves as they often have to run from authorities because they rarely have the permits to set up shop where they do.
Toma have a unique use of magnetism to develop mechanical toys and gadgets, from instant-deploy tents to magnetic weapons, the Toma have mastered the magnetic force of the world to their advantage, and to the amazement of those who come across them.
