Rindu Life in Polaris

In Polaris, castes have mostly dissolved as they have no bearing on the everyday interaction of a Rindunese. The city has instead replaced that with economic class, which is ironically a direct opposite to the lifestyle of Rindu. For the Outcastes, this is a haven from the poor treatment they experience back home. The opportunity to work far better jobs for a far better quality of life means the Outcastes make up a majority of the civilian population in Polaris.   However, this huge influx has backfired as now there are far too many Outcastes, leading to a huge population of unemployed Outcastes. They have been forced to become the Rogues, a band of thieves who make their living by scamming, stealing, and thieving around the city. Their operation is no mere solo effort, however; the Rogues form various bands of highly organized crime, sometimes going so far as to rob high-prestige banks.   While this is happening, many of the youth of the city have instead rejected that lifestyle to join the mysterious Dabbawala organization, started by Abbots who discovered the time-dilation powers of Ripple Crystals in their studies while traveling to Polaris to learn of other cultures in their search for ultimate enlightenment. They used this time dilation system to create a complex delivery system across the city for fresh Rindu food packaged in convenient lunch boxes, always on a perfect timetable.   Those who are of a higher Cycle have made their living as a Sangha Merchant, working to transport and sell Rindu goods in the bazaars of Rindu. These merchants, despite their supposed wisdom, have been known to form deep rivalries with rival merchants, and will go to great lengths to disrupt their competition.
