Platonists

The Platonists are the Kynoseans who build their life around the arts, who form a deep bond with their guildmates. Each guild is tied to a specific craft which a Platonist hones in order to refine their connection to their heart. Each guild is a found family of the arts.
For a Platonist, guilds are rarely at odds with one another, but rather with the Athenians who they have formed a considerable tension with due to the way Athenians treat Platonists. The aristocrats of Polaris will oftentimes go to guilds to purchase or consume art, but have made a habit of only doing it for their own plotting, rather than to appreciate the art. They will buy pots and vases, paintings and statues only to flex their wealth, which angers the Platonists who do it as a labor of love.
