Mercenaries

The Mercenaries are fighters who descend from the warriors of the Omeso, from lowly soldiers to imposing generals. These fighters rely on an extensive arsenal of Fire Crystals to control the battlefield and lead their armies to victory. Each crystal has been finely shaped by royal Gemcarvers for a specific purpose. Each crystal is placed on the back of a pair of gloves so that the crystal has contact with the skin at all times.
They are paid by Viceroyalties, where the highest bidder gets the best warriors. Of course, they are known to take “taxes” from the peasants of a village. In the city of Polaris, they make their living not just in the Omeso district but across the city as lucrative bouncers and security guards in various positions.
