Chemist

The Chemists are Han who use Earth Crystals as part of fantastically complex potions. They are perhaps the least hostile because they already have the largest foothold on the district. They do not bother with violence and destruction, but rather maintain their power through the power of quality. The Chemists’ Guild exists as a secret society which is both hereditary and talent-seeking; they will oftentimes scout talented magicians in various places to join the guild.
The Chemists study the true nature of the world; they study each chemical, their chemical reactions, and the way those chemicals interact with Earth Crystals. Their teachings are ones of greater alchemical balance, finding the perfect alchemical balance with which to achieve a certain effect, both in alchemy and in life. They have a strict code of ethics and are sworn to never share their knowledge of alchemy with the world.
