The Song of Mantar

Long before we, the first born, defended the Blue Sun's sacred gates, the Ancients seeded Matar. In their war against darkness, our solar system was burned. In the ashes of these systems, the races were born. Leaving their Revenants to defend our orbital womb, the ancients abandoned us to prove our worth.   On the first day of the awakening, the T'tara of Atlas bore consciousness. The Revenants who woke us explained our sacred rite. As the eldest, our responsibility is to protect our younger siblings.   In the morning of the second. Rana birthed the Thrani. The elves fell from their great tree, like nuts to the earth. At disk, the first eggs hatched. Before the sun rose, the Xari had composed their first lessons.   On the third day, the first Revenants failed. With an eruption, PPolaris was shattered. Left to explore the broken world's moons, the Humans scattered, splintered, and divided. Without the Ancients to guide them, the made bloodshed their purpose.   On the fourth day, the mountains of Chiron cracked open. With the Revenant dead and dissolving into the world, Chiron's children, the Romi and the Fera learned their magic from the earth.    The fate of the firth day is still unknown. Lost among the roaring asteroid belt, Sirius hides shrouded in darkness.    On the sixth day, the favored hatched forth. Castor welcomed the dragon-kissed Kroni and the Ancients most powerful secrets.    On the seventh day, the darkness returned and Castor was lost.    -Birathas, the Watcher, The Righteous Domain of Laenysh historian.
