The Isle of Viridius is located in northwestern Carminia, and is renowned throughout the kingdom for its resplendent green fields.

Geography

The Isle of Viridius is mostly flat, and so it contains a significant portion of the kingdom's farmland. The great green plains for which the island is known stretch for days and make up the majority of land area in the north and east, with some unusual geography tucked away in the west and south.
There is a surprisingly tall mountain range in the southwest with sharp, jagged peaks. The mountains are riddled with labyrinthian caverns which play host to many creatures, and the foothills surrounding the range are covered in lush, green forest.
From clear springs high in these mountains flow the headwaters of the two major rivers of the island. To the east and south, the Green River river makes a formidable natural obstacle with its swift rapids and deadly jagged rocks. To the north and east, the waters of the Mill River roll slowly along their crooked course, watering the island's vast plains like a drunken farmer on his way home from a particularly expensive night at the tavern.
At the southern tip of the island lies a river delta with deep canyons and chasms, which have been patiently carved through the soft rock by the Green River over many centuries.
