Ova

The ova are great sand beasts, the live all their life in the hot sand of the badlands named after them. While the do eat the Farce and other creatures they can find, most of their life is spent slowly tunneling threw the sand by taking great bites, of the sand before it and then digesting the parasites by the thousands. What makes them so formidable, even against a dragon is that when it senses the shifting sands above it, the ova will position itself, and then shoots out of the sand while vomiting toxic sand to kill and wound whatever is big enough to cause it to take notice. If the ova is plentiful in larger kills, it will go into hibernation and literally break itself into smaller pieces, and out of a large beast there could be 4 ova leaving into the four directions, these are a self procreation creatures, this is beneficial to the ova as they travel large distances so mating would be difficult and this reduces their mass letting them live off of less of the microbial life of the sands it travels. If a ova grows too large at about 9 meters long, without at least 92 kg, of flesh and bone of the larger pray like the Farce, that roam between the dessert grasslands in the space of a week, the ova will parish from starvation. These burial sites can be seen with the naked eye as a new grass land will appear with the nutrient sand, and so promote more beasts for the ova to kill when the time comes.
