Personal history
Silby Dawes is an adept user of the arcane arts. He was trained in the college and then went abroad to explore sources of magical power. During his travels his demeanor softened after meeting the various peoples of the world. He returned home to find the College more aggressive than ever. He became a professor of the college in a hope to be a counterbalance to the overzealous Marcus Moore.
After Marcus' death, Silby assumed the role as Archmage of the college.
