Peppermint Forest
Geography
Off of the southern slopes of the Gumdrop Hills, across the land until it meets the Soda Sea, lies the platue commonly referred to as the Peppermint Forest. The forest itself is a dense "wood" from which the giant peppermint sticks it is named after grow in abundance, from which many architectural structures are crafted.
To the east is a near sheer cliff face that drops into the Soda Sea. Though to say the forest borders the sea would be geographically correct, practically speaking the two areas are worlds apart.
West of the Peppermint Forest, past a small plains area, the Dessert Desert begins.
Fauna & Flora
The animals that stalk the Peppermint Woods predominantly consist of animal crackers, with many tigers living i the trees proper and more plains like creatures living south of Gumdrop Hills west of the forest until the Dessert Desert begins.
Natural Resources
Peppermint Forest is the largest, nay, only location from which peppermint can be harvested. The peppermint itself is sturdier than most other hard candies, especially when refined. Though naturally the peppermint logs are frequently found in architecture as main support beams, often higher end taverns or restraunts flaunt their natural peppermint tables having the largest logs available cut into slices and sealed to form their natural surface tops.
