Violent ripples of creation, an echo of the Dawn Era

The Cycle is the name given to the arcane and divine shock-waves rippling outwards in the universe from its creation. These ripples, while dangerous, have a repetitive nature, returning every few thousand years from the edge of the universe to bring a taste of the Dawn Era to the modern world. Each individual Cycle typically has its own name which is a reflection of society's knowledge of it's coming and how it was handled. The affects of these events is often long lasting, and can fundamentally alter natural laws.
