Dark Water
Dark Water has long been a solitary town owing mainly to its isolated location. Also though, the islanders are historically distrustful of "mainlanders" as they call them, which reinforces people's notions to stay away from the island.
The town's main export nowadays is fishing. It used to thrive during the golden ages of whaling but that trade was slowly abandoned over time in favor of the closer to home and less risky way of life.
