  Description
A mysterious monastic order known as the Silent Sentinels has emerged, shrouded in an aura of enigmatic tranquility. These ascetic individuals have crafted a unique belief system that venerates absolute silence and stillness as the keys to survival, spiritual awakening, and perhaps, the salvation of the world.
Central to the faith of the Silent Sentinels is the concept of attunement. They devote hours, if not entire lifetimes, to deep meditation, cultivating an unbroken connection with the ever-shifting rhythms of the Shroud; a mysterious cosmic energy that permeates the world—and the eldritch, enigmatic forces lurking in the shadows. Through their silent contemplation, they claim to have glimpsed visions of the world's ultimate fate, both grim and hopeful, and they believe that in their stillness lies the path to salvation.
The Silent Sentinels are known for their eerie yet comforting presence. Encounters with them are marked by their profound silence, punctuated only by the faintest rustle of their monastic robes. They are seen as guardians of a delicate balance in an imbalanced world, custodians of the knowledge hidden within the quietude of the universe.
Pilgrimages hold a sacred place in their faith, and the most revered pilgrimage of all leads to "The Silent Place." This desolate site, an empty dirt crater of unknown value to outsiders, is the epicenter of their devotion. Pilgrims from far and wide trek to this remote location, where they engage in silent reflection, seeking to attune themselves to the very essence of the world. It is here that they believe the whispers of the Shroud and the eldritch can be heard most clearly, and where the secrets of their world's destiny are most profoundly revealed.
