Background
Born as a result of a relationship between two young inductees (14 and 15 years old), she was put in the orphanage ever since she was born. Taken care of by the children there and later Charon as well, she has never found out which previous members of the thieves guild were her parents. Since then she has made an effort to question every veteran of the organization, in hopes of finding out who her parents are. They might even be close friends… A very talented and well practiced thief, she proved herself the single most talented member at lockpicking, due to an exceptional ability in visualizing things in three dimensions in her head. Not very good at manipulation at that point. Her talents for 3D conceptualization subsequently evolved to a profound analytical curiosity, leading her to train herself in pattern recognition and prediction in things around her and, later on, even people. Though still not excellent at manipulation, she has improved considerably. Moreover, she became a tremendous leader, finding ways to improve the Guild, its workings and its techniques and various ways, not so much by doing it all herself, but by choosing the right people to surround herself with. As such, she was hand-picked by the previous leader to be his successor. Has trained a few thieves herself. Having gone to the 3rd layer of Hell many years ago, she enlisted the services of a devil (Sabah-Nur) that modified her whole body (all of it) with a special thread, making her skin unbelievably difficult to damage in any way. As such, her Armor Class is considerably high and she has a number of resistances (mostly to physical). Remains good friends with said devil. Sumi is her best friend and has been since he was 5 years old and she was 13 – Sumi approached her as a young child pretending like she wanted to play with her, only to steal a pastry she had stolen as well. She only noticed after she did it 5 more times, and a fierce competition between a child and a teen was born (she’s ashamed of it nowadays). For 10 years her main job was joining adventuring parties and heading off towards the horizon. Saw many things, met many people, visited many places, stole from all of them and promptly left with their belongings and treasures. Sometimes worked with BBEGs to ensure even more loot, but betrayed them too.Personality
Her voice is extremely monotone, though she is very courteous and friendly to pretty much everyone. However, she is extremely cynical and untrusting of others, and is also untrustworthy herself, breaking any promise if it benefits her. As such, every member of the Thieves Guild is taught to work in her favor, otherwise they might find themselves without a friend in the world. Isn’t the smartest person out there, but always seems to find herself well prepared to deal with any situation, due to being immensely cautious in what she does. Though she doesn’t keep promises very well, she will help friends in need, but most of the time indirectly, and rarely putting herself in danger. That being said, there are 2 people she’d fight for with all she’s got: Sumi and Orcold. Overtly greedy, but not with the intention of hoarding money. Not only does she enjoy knowing there’s a constant flow of income, since it signals she is doing a good job, it also allows her to help the poor people that live in the slums and attack the rich and noble through economic means (rival commerce, for example). Also instituted bail funds, in case any young member is caught and needs to be bailed out. This also creates a strong sense of gratitude within these young members. Is not in charge of the “Thieves Guild Orphanage” because she tends to dislike children. Hates bureaucracy, but loves efficient work. Has no qualms with theft of both rich and poor, though “robbing the poor would be robbing ourselves”, as she says on occasion. Doesn’t like to (but understands) the need to kill. Enjoys people she considers stupid or ignorant, since according to her “they are fun to hang out with”. Has been in a “friends with benefits” relationship with Orcold for 18 years, not that Orcold would admit to it.Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Has a gorgeous and innocent smile. The clothes she wears are baggy and meant for comfort and freedom of movement: she wears a very simple non-descript black short-sleeved shirt and pants to match, as well as very well made brown shoes. These clothes suggest a lax and unconcerned attitude, leading opponents to attack her with undeserved confidence.
Relationships
History
Knows him well, as she does any member of the thieves guild. Remembers him as a nice kid and proficient thief, though remarks he was a more of a prodigy in confusing everyone around him. Sees Salvallay as someone who if they hadn’t been properly trained and disciplined probably would’ve been a drunken philosopher and doomsayer that would’ve been hanged. Spoke to him rarely, but enjoyed it. Since he left, she rarely thinks of him, though she does remember a conversation she once had with him where Salvallay explained his goal in life to her. Of that she says “Never have I ever felt more inclined to join someone on such a stupid adventure than in that moment”.
