The armor of the Raven Queen's champion

Black raven feathers spurt from this leather breastplate’s collar and shoulder pads. The leather patches are finely crafted and woven together in a way that almost resembles plate armor, and is covered in very intricate, faintly visible scrollwork.

Created to protect the wearer from death and the forces of the elements that assailed them during the fight with the various Titans.

History

Originally used by Elissa Vysoren, the original champion of the Raven Queen, during the Titanfall. She led several elven tribes and participated in most, if not all, of the Titan battles in Valinor. After their victory, she lived a full life, and was buried with the armor, in a small temple to the Raven Queen, constructed in the location of her tribe's original village. In recent times, the temple was being researched by a member of the Ioun Library. He unfortunately fell to one of the protection measures of the temple, but a group of adventurers was led there, successfully defeated the spirit of the long dead champion, and claimed the breastplate.
Most recently, the armor has been given to the Shadar-kai, who are analyzing and studying it.
