Gozreh

See here for more detailed information   After the events of the Eskaton, the Orcs were lost. Many were stranded on the surface, and they all felt the loss of their patron deity, Rovagug, deeply. Orcish culture values strength above all things, and the events of the Eskaton proved that the Orcs were weak. Some gave up in despair, but the survivors rallied, and hid from the harsh radiation of the Daystar in the mountain jungles of Remnant. They began to adapt to life on the surface, but they were still at odds with their environment. They were a people without balance, unaware of the rhythms of nature.   Gozreh metaphysically approached the Orc diaspora, and offered to teach them - if for no other reason than to maintain the ecology of the jungles. The now-godless orcs accepted, and what began as a divine "if your're going to stay here at least clean up around the place" lecture turned into a formidable partnership.   Gozreh, ultimately, taught them balance. Strength is a virtue, but it is not the virtue. Balance is key.   The surviving surface Orcs lacked purpose, and the group that would become the Khorazel found new purpose in the stewardship of nature.
