The Wyrm of Cumbria

Gyddryd the Green was a large, wingless, fire-breathing dragon that terrorized the countryside of Cumbria for decades.
Many knights fought the near-invincible wyrm on multiple occasions, including the Centurion King of Malahaut.
The creature was slain by Sir Rolant the Wyrm Hunter in late 484.
