Merthyr Tydfil

Merthyr Tydfil, or "Tydfil the Martyr", is a village in Brycheiniog in Cambria named after Princess Tydfil, who was murdered there by religious opponents.   Princess Tydfil's cowalker, a faerie named Tydfil the Witch, was trapped in the village until she was freed by Sir Artaire of Idmiston in 490.
