King Idres of Cornwall

King Idres ͏͏͏͏

Idres is the king of Cornwall and one of the kings of Brittany.   Originally the king of Totnes, he inherited Cornwall upon the death of his wife's childless brother King Riothamus and combined the kingdoms.   Idres has spent many years trying to recapture the counties of Cornwall that defected to Logres. After the death of King Uther Pendragon, he began his conquest in earnest, rapidly gaining control and establishing himself as one of the most powerful warlords in Britain  His coat of arms consists of three golden lion heads facing left on a red field.
