Figsbury

Figsbury is an ancient abandoned hill fort in Salisbury.
It is reported to be haunted, and it is said that the sounds of groaning men and clanking chains can be heard coming from the ground beneath it on Midsummer's Eve.
Lady Elaine of Winterbourne Stoke was kidnapped and brought to Figsbury in 484.
