The Royals' Flush

Sometimes you run into people that change your life for the better... those people are called Bartenders.   The Royals' Flush is one of the most famous Tavern in Brexeamar, located in Marrentia. Common travelers stop in just to say they've been, while adventurers flock for the information and money floating around inside.

Purpose / Function

The Royals' Flush is a large pub and serves its guests some of the finest drinks available in the whole of Brexeamar. Secretly, the tavern serves as a front for The House, and The High 'N Dry; gathering funds and selling product.

Design

The three-story tavern, it's connected lodge, and customer stables, take up almost a complete city block. The tavern rests south of the Market Square of the Brethren Port -the capitol of Marrentia- with the stable complex to the south and the lodge to the north of the tavern itself. Customers enter the tavern and find themselves in a foyer area. The area to the entrance's immediate left is the main dining center, with round tables placed about. "Palace" and other less high stakes card games take place in the back of this area. To the entrance's immediate right is the ever-stocked bar. The area runs the entire length of the building, and the bar sits along the right wall of the area. The more barbaric and dangerous card games (such as Dead-Eye or Crown and Anchor) take place in the left corner under the stairs. Even at it's slowest hours, the stools of the bar are always filled. The kitchen lies in the center, in between the bar and main dining center, so servers may bring food on either side of the building faster and easier. A stage lies at the end of the tavern, running almost the whole length of the north wall, connecting the back of both the bar and the dining center. The stage houses live performances nightly, and performers are forewarned that the crowd will not hide it's feelings if they don't like the evening's entertainment. A small area exists behind the stage for loading and show preparation. There is also an entrance to the basement through this area that is devoted to the pubs' most generous patrons. Once descended into the dim-lit basement, customers will notice a raised T-shaped platform. Here, Nobles and Criminals alike may relax and enjoy the darker temptations that The Royals' Flush has to offer. Stairs along the left wall of the bar and right wall of the dining center lead up to the top floors. The second floor has an open area allowing customers to look down and view the ground floor of The Royals' Flush. The second floor also has a small bar itself for customer convenience. A dumbwaiter also allows quick access to the kitchen and storeroom below. The large open area of the bar away from the viewing deck has a octagonal cage and is encircled by chairs. Customers who wish to settle differences and keep the favor of the tavern (by not breaking anything or damaging property) are encouraged to use the facility. The third floor has a guarded and locked storeroom where the massive liquor stash of the tavern is kept. Other small rooms include a cleaning closet and holding cell for the more rowdy customers.   The Lodge of the Royals' Flush may be entered on second floor, or through its own doors outside the tavern. Customer's will see the receptionist's desk and a nicely laid out common's area. A fire pit keeps the area cozy warm, and the buzz of conversation from the bar can always be heard. The first and second floors of the lodge each have twenty single-bed rooms. These rooms come with a bed, night table, reading desk, and a small closet. The floors have sporadically placed washing facilities, they are more lavish on the third floor. The third floor has 5 double rooms, which include two of everything found in the single rooms as well as their own washing facility, and a single large room that is given to only to royalty.
