It wasn't what he hoped for when he got into the best university when it comes to research. He found a way to pass time, and when he did it once, he got addicted to it. He stole one of the most dangerous books about necromancyHe was experimenting on others, and always manipulating others for his own gain. It was a little hobby of his, until he heard of the Soul Monger. An ancient artifact that would give the wearer unimaginable powers. He set off to Chult. Soon after, he met Mine.

First, Omnix didn't really like Mine and just tried to convince her to partake in his experiments. But soon, he started loving her, and he tragically only realized he really loved her when she died right in front of him. As soon as he got the Soul Monger in his hands, he started planning Mine's escape from The Gutter.
