The Core

The core is the source of all life on Borenlinx, a name it gave itself. Without the core the planet could have never existed. The history of this planets begins when it wasn't even a planet to begin with, but rather a being. This being floated in space for billions, trillions of years, perhaps even longer. It was unwanted, unneeded, and abandoned. For the Core was but an infant. An infant of beings that were disappointed of their child and tossed them away to seek a more perfect one. The Core was born unnatural, a creation of multiversal beings attempting to procreate without knowing how and its deformed existence was the psychical result. It was dying, but slowly, and the eons passed and meteors, stars, and dust coalesced unto its being it formed to basis of its crust, where it was the mantel.   It lived off the death that occurred on its being, though slowly dying from malnutrition it managed to live off the scraps caused by the death of creatures that evolved upon it, both natural and unnatural alike. Its blood is what jump-started the life, the cores eldritch ichor providing a bounty due to its undefined properties for it could be anything and everything and gave life upon what it touched. Titanous beings formed from the stone in which the blood touched and thus began the first age of life, the age of world shapers. They walked the world spewing the base elements fueled by the blood that coursed though them, unaware it was the cores unconscious desires. Oceans, plains, caves, all were carved by these shapers and as life came and went the core lived off all that returned to it, slowly merging with the planet itself.   It was not when but why the core merged with the planet. The core had grown, surviving off the ever-growing bounty of the universe it made and had slowly became aware of its unconscious desire to live, to facilitate the creation of life to feed off of. Though that was part of the reason why it did it another part grew to care for the world that formed upon it. It did not wish to destroy what it made and so instead of choosing to break away from its shell, it became one with it. It snaked it veins into the world, sinking its roots into every corner to keep the world together, constantly moving, shaping caverns that would become homes to new life until it finally settled. The flesh of its body thought it still remained was not the thing that protecting its organs, rather it was the the scabbing of its burnt flesh that created a barrier between it and the magma that is had made by melting stone with its heat. For whenit settled the organs still remained, keeping it alive so that it may keep this world fresh and fertile, and allow the life it has grown to love to form on top of it.
