Giant Chicken

The giant chicken is a giant species of bird, at full size growing to be anywhere from 8-15 feet tall. They are used as mounts around farm lands, and to pull lighter loads. Their strengths lie in their quick and graceful bounds, since the chicken can cross 20-30 feet in a single bounce. These animals are rare and are very close to going extinct, they struggle to hide in the wild and are not very bright but are short tempered and run into danger, usually ending in the sad demise of the bird, so you should consider yourself lucky if you find a farm with one.   They are hatched the size of a regular chick, but grow at an alarmingly fast pace, usually getting to 6 feet tall in under a month, and once 3 months have passed, it is very unlikely that they will continue to grow.   They can not survive in crazy weather, and will freeze/overheat extremely easily, their feathers require constant grooming and they can eat their body weight in feed every day.
