Iron Desert
There are sand deserts, rocky deserts and even ice deserts. But there is nothing like the Iron Desert, in the entire known desert. Made out of nothing but fine red dust, this vast vasteland is a deadly trap for any traveller, as one can find no life in here, neither plant, nor animal. The only living thing to be found in such hostile place, are cybernids, who collect the oxidized iron dust, to fuel their industry with it.
Geography
Iron Desert covers rather large areas in the central and northern parts of Australia, stretching from the Gates of Tjurunga, to the Moun Lumen.
Fauna & Flora
Despite the Rainbow Desert flowing through this red field, nothing can survive here. Neither plant, nor animal, as the soil here can support no vegetation and without vegetation, not even the most resistant vermin can survive here.
Natural Resources
The only natural resource found in this dead land, is the red dust itself. Being oxidized iron, it is collected by the Ferrous Hegemony, who recycle it back to i's original metal form.
