The crusade to rid the world of Immortals finally spreads from the mostly-pacified Western Continent. The basic strategy is for excess fighting folk to hop on boats, ship across the sea, and kill as many Immortals as possible before dying. It starts out reeeaaaalllly bad, but that's what everybody expected.
