Stansequoia

Back when the Divine Orchestra was playing, Botaria's (then known as Manuhast) first creation ever was the Stansequoia, a gigantic tree that represented the connection of Botaria with nature. He created the island of Budston with the purpose of housing the Stansequoia.

A home for many

The Stansequoia is an enormous hollow tree, being as big and broad as a small mountain with its own unique ecosystem. In it, Botaria created the first Floraren, beings that are nature through and through. Botaria intended for the Floraren to live in the Stansequoia, and this is what happened. To this day, a large community of Florarens that revere Botaria live inside the Stansequoia, together with special breeds of creatures one would normally see in the wild.

Victim of its own design

As big as it might be, the Stansequoia is still a tree, and thus a living being. Many people swore that the tree is breathing, but many others dismiss it as the creaking of the wood. Those others are also evil people, people that view the Stansequoia as merely a tree, that just so happens to be made of highly magical wood. Every grain of the wood is permeated with divine power, originating from Botaria. Thus, it was frequently targeted by people that sought to harvest wood for themselves. They ultimately became mulch for the tree to grow.

Purpose / Function

Botaria initially had no goal for the tree. It was merely something He made to signify his affinity with nature. After a while though, when he created Budston, he felt the tree could be an origin for so much more. This includes the Floraren, but also one of the Botanical Deities, Grovar.   Nowadays, the Stansequoia serves as a home for a whole cornucopia of Florarens and some Firbolg guardians. The Florarens revere the Stansequoia as the entity that represents the nearest Botaria has ever been to the world, and they were born from the tree. The Firbolgs guard the tree and the Florarens with their life, and any intruder is severely punished.   Ever since the Warring Era ended and all gods stepped out of the mortal coil, the Stansequoia is now the closest thing to Botaria in this world. Many people seek out the Stansequoia to seek guidance from Botaria. After thorough screening from the Firbolgs, they are deemed either worthy or unworthy of His attention.
