Botaria

Leader of the Botanical Deities Botaria (a.k.a. Manuhast)

The leader of the Botanical Deities, he is a former Musical Divine who was created as Orchast's most promising accomplice. As the Upper Deity, Botaria has total control over His pantheon.

The Creator of the Botanical Continent

Botaria has shaped every corner of the Botanical Continent by himself, with the help of the Divine Orchestra. However, after he separated from the Divines, he redesigned the landmass and divided it amongst his own pantheon.

Personal history

Botaria was created by Orchast after the Divine Orchestra had finished performing their world-creating symphony. Orchast looked upon what was Blomaria at that point and thought to Himself:
This world is lacking things. I don't know what to make, because My song has finished. I need someone to replace Me when i have no inspiration for the world.
Orchast went into the Chaos that still exists outside of Blomaria and started looking for energy similar to his own. Playing his signature song, parts of energy reacted and started to form together. Orchast directly interfered and began shaping his new Divine. This was the new Orchast, and Orchast defined this new Him as a guest conductor in the Divine Orchestra. Thus, he named him Manuhast.

Manuhast's first action was creating an enormous tree, bigger than Orchast has ever seen. Manuhast looked for a landmass that was worthy of housing his tree, but found none. So Manuhast created it himself: the landmass that is now known as Budston. The tree was called the Stansequoia, and it stands higher than any tree has ever been in all of Blomaria.

After that, Manuhast began expanding on this, seeing that He had the freedom to create more. Thus, He composed his masterpiece, the landmass that is now known as the Botanical Continent. Country after country were created as Manuhast conducted the Divine Orchestra. And so, an entirely new part of the world was created.

Orchast looked upon Manuhast's actions with great pride. When the Botanical Continent was created, He took over from Manuhast and got down to business: which Divines would receive what areas in the newly created continent? But Manuhast rejected this idea suddenly. He argued since He created this continent, He should decide which Divines could settle. And it certainly would not be the already existing Divines, who have lands of their own.

Orchast and the Divines immediately acted upon this notion, putting Manuhast in place and stripping him from his conducting position. Enraged, Manuhast cast aside everything that He shared with the Divine Pantheon, including his name. He thought that if music wouldn't be the area in which he could rule, he would rule nature. Henceforth, Manuhast was to be called Botaria.

Botaria took control of the Botanical Continent by creating his own Pantheon out of the chaos energy and swiftly occupying the landmass. He divided it amongst the new gods, now called Deities, and scoffed at Orchast. Orchast looked at this and shaked His head. What followed was the millenia spanning Warring Era, in which Divines and Deities would engage in a world-shaping conflict.

Morality & Philosophy

Botaria believes that the world does not revolve around music, but around nature. He shaped the Botanical Continent completely with nature in mind, and while the Musical Continent does have nature of its own, The Botanical Continent shows how passionate Botaria was about nature.   The Upper Deity thinks very low of the Divines, but doesn't hold them as enemies outright. He thinks like the nature he has shaped, constantly reacting and trying not to disturb a delicate balance that is between his pantheon and the Divine Pantheon.   The strongest belief of Botaria involves the just treatment and reverence of nature. Most of his clerics have a druidic background, and divine intervention of Botaria is guaranteed if it revolves the nature he created.

Taboos

In the view of Botaria, it is an absolute sin to disrespect nature and what it stands for. Scorching foliage, hurting animals and defiling earth are all reasons for Botaria to intervene. And the culprit will not leave unscathed.
