It has been a long week since the ooze was first detected in the city. What seemed like a minor event turned into an expansive project effecting the majority of the city in one way or another. Heroes of Sharn rose to the occasion both locally and abroad: brainstorming solutions and possible causes, getting boots on the ground to help clean up the mess and rescue endangered citizens (and animals). The city was defended from complete destruction, the artificers, alchemists, wizards and intellectuals of the city have determined that this ooze was a toxic sludge being transported on an airship to the city. They haven't been able to determine why, or by whom, but have set a group of adventurers off on a mission to discern such reasons.
Finding their way deep down under the city, the groups come upon several large cavernous rooms. They peer in through the entrances they arrive upon and see that they are not alone. The Warforged that they have been encountering must have been either coming to, or from one of these meeting areas as dozens, if not hundreds of Warforged coalesce in these chambers. Noticing outside interference, the Warforged turn on you and start to move aggressively towards the group... A fight is imminent.
