in a frontier town this building doesn't stand out, wood and canvass make it functional, but closer inspection shows the accumulation of plants on the outside, and inside.
Purpose / Function
location for those with a desire for the wilderness to meet and talk, compare notes, and research the new world.
Design
This "Building" is more like a twenty foot wide umbrella, plants and drying racks dominate the outer edges of the circle, and the four tables and one desk are around the inner pole.
An Air elemental keeps the weather out of the tent as much as possible.
Entries
the walls are few, so you may enter through most sides.
Sensory & Appearance
It smells like a garden nursery in here, all animal smells are taken by the Air elemental. the place looks like a garden nursery with attached animal pens.
Denizens
the various members of the Wild Lodge are in and out of here day and night, Shautha, the Grand Druid, is here during the day, studying the plants and animals that are unique to this world.
Contents & Furnishings
There are four examination tables and an administration desk in a circle around the central support pole for the tent.
there are a huge number of pots and containers with dirt and plants in the structure so that local plants can be studied.
Valuables
all the treasures Druids usually keep, i.e. plant materials and magical components.
Hazards & Traps
there is always someone awake in here, they are usually Druids. there are a lot of plants the Druids can use.
Special Properties
An Air elemental keeps the weather out as much as possible, the air is kept scented by the plants in here. animal smells are carried away by the elemental.
Architecture
less wood planks than many of the older buildings, the roof is mainly to keep rain off papers and injured/sick animals.
