The last letter of the Agarian Rebellion was a secret letter between Pontiff Mortarious, leader of the Conclave of Gero Drakar, and his most trusted servant Chartzar, the first Arch-Archivist and founder of the Orgimborg Archives. This letter is the last remaining evidence that the Agarian Rebellion ever took place as any mention of it has been stripped from the historical record in the entirety of the Snoll region in an attempt to prevent any future rebellions being inspired by it. The letter is kept deep inside of the Archives of Ogrimborg.
Last letter of the Agarian Rebellion
Your Holiness,
Our sacred troops were able to break Agar's uprising, just as your Holiness would expect of them. When they attacked the palace during the hibernal solstice I must sadly admit, and it shames me to say this, that our troops were initially caught unprepared. Their witches threw fire at our defences, and the pushed us back to the gates. But we managed to out number them, and with the god's favour on our side we pushed them back. We captured one of their leaders, a Shenuian princeling named Wallace McMillan. He is being shipped to you as I write this and should arrive shortly after this letter if all goes well. Hopefully your Holiness knows an appropriate punishment for him. From our interrogations we learned that the dwarves of Alpheria had pledged themselves to the cause of the rebels, but broke their vows at the very last moment. I will leave it up to your Holiness to conduct an appropriate punishment for them.
When we went to the rebel bases we saw that the gods had already punished those filthy peasants for their indolence, turning their water foul and killing their crops. With the gods on our side we were able route the ones that stayed behind and take back control of Ermylla and Snollheim. Sadly the she-witch Agar and her closest disciples have as of now escaped our notice, but we are certain that we will be able to capture them in time for the next soulstice.
Clearly this is a sign of our right to rule the region, and I am certain the other orders in the Snoll region shall soon bow down to you, oh holy father. I recommend setting up an logistics office in the central town of Ogrimborg (headed by yours truly) and a military base in Ermylla to keep a better grip upon the region.
Forever your faithful servant,
Arch-archivist Chartzar
