Throxeus Ocean

The Throxeus Ocean was once the largest Ocean of ancient Barsoom encompassing most the northern hemisphere. Today the floor of the Throxeus Ocean comprises the largest lowland region of Barsoom.   Many currently inhabited cities and ancient ruins are situated along the shores of this great dead ocean. Only one known kingdom has settled itself in a rift valley on the floor of the Throxeus.
