Morbus

Morbus is an island citadel located in the only barren expanse of the Toonolian Marshes. Once the site of a ruined city hidden in the thick vegetation of the marshes, the island now occupies the center of a desolate area, two hads in diameter, which was razed after extensive radium bombing three decades earlier. The citadel sits atop an extensive system of labyrinths that once extended underneath the city, and both have been repurposed to provide a home for a small population of Hormads. Having been granted geopolitical independence in exchange for a trading agreement with Phundal, the population of Hormads engage in extensive hunting and mining operations in the marshes.
