Lady Wachter

Fiona Wachter is a wealthy and influential Vallakian noble as well as secret conspirer against Baron Vallakovich. Head of Vallaki's Merchants Guild, she holds considerable power, which she used to work in secret to depose the Baron. She has since deposed him and assumed the role of baroness.

History:

Fiona lived her whole life in Vallaki, and experienced the cruelty of the previous baron's rule firsthand. Now, with the help of Izek Blinsky, Ernst Larnak, and other unknown spies and merchants in Vallaki, she hopes to take him down.   Fiona lives in the Wachterhaus with her two rebellious sons, Nikolai II and Karl, and her daughter Stella. In a past and more peaceful attempt to form ties with the Vallakovich Family, Stella and Victor Vallakovich were married. Unknown events that transpired during this marriage mysteriously left Stella in a state of permanent catatonia. Fiona blames herself for this, and has only grown in her hatred for the Vallokovich Family.

The Plan:

Before the party's arrival in Vallaki, she was informed that the Baron had stolen The Bones of St. Andral. Fiona, after becoming aware of the party's status as fugitives in Vallaki, allowed them, Ireena, and Izek to hide in her home. She hoped to use them as agents to recover the bones, which would give her evidence and support to oust the Baron.

Baroness Wachter:

The vampire attack on Vallaki resulted in her death at the hands of Anastraya Karelova disguised as Ireena Kolyana in an effort to frame and alienate her. Fiona was then quickly revivified by Trid, who went with the rest of the party to fight off the vampires. Though her current motives remain unclear, Fiona has been paid a visit at least once by Rahadin.
