Magisterium

It is difficult to find out anything about the Magisterium as they are shrouded in mystery. They were founded by Delvin in 622 GR by Delevin Belfrid and they work for the city rooting out those capable of using magic for disruption. Most people will only interact with an Agent a few times in their life when they are investigating reports of unregistered magic. Most people only know two things firstly what agents look like, they are easily identifiable by their red garb, and secondly that their base of opperations is in the Sanctiforum District. The head of the Magisterium is Spinad Filip who reports directly to the high court. All members of the Magisterium are also member of the School of Purity but the reverse is certainly not true.

New registered magic users will always be given a ranking of A. Once you have demonstrated trustworthyness people may be upgraded to a B this cuts the tax from 10EP to 1EP per month. This comes with reduced scrutiny from the Magisterium. C ranking is normally reserved for members of the Magisterium itself or nobility.
