The Elven culture has been one of being the teachers of those who know not. Being the guides to those who are lost. They idealize knowledge most of all and they wish for all of existence to share in this knowledge.

One who is clean and pristine has nothing to hide.
One who is divine is closer to ones true self.
One who respects others deserves respect in return.
One who guides is one who knows ones path.
One who is wise knows which path to take.
One who can teach is one who embodies all of these.

Art & Architecture
Most art is within the architecture that makes up the Sky District. Statues of marble are reflections of its inhabitants and every house is large and magnificent. Polished Dampwood is also used in sharp contrast to the light color of the marble. Gold leaf is also used to accent interiors of buildings. Stained glass is also another frequently used material painting the district in a variety of colors when the sun shines at the right angle.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Must uphold their public image by everything being pristine and immaculate. They wear little jewelry and adorn their outfits with all manner of rare metals and intricate designs.
Gender Ideals
Male and female elves have a not so clear difference between them. The males have the tendency to be feminine right along side females with slim figures and eccentric outfits. Elven women are rarely masculine because masculine traits tend to be barbaric. But the Elves that do represent a more masculine identity do it with grace and control. Being a firm hand in necessary moments and a decisive guide in moments of uncertainty.
Courtship Ideals
Elves can be won over by beautiful outfits or an amazing dance or even a new knowledge they didn't know before. But what elves desire the most in a partner is one who has greater values and morals than they do. If you expose your heart to an Elf they will have no choice but to respect you and most likely adore you. Unless they detect disingenuous behavior.
Relationship Ideals
It takes many years of identifying a partner before an Elf will commit to a relationship. When Elves form a relationship they bond their spirits for life. If one of the two were to parish, the other, too, would shortly leave the realm of the living. They share somewhat of an empathetic link where they can feel almost exactly what the other feels.
