Former Human
Transmission & Vectors
- Death
Causes
- When a human becomes a demon or angel, they are a Former Human (FH).
Symptoms
- Unlike Seryphame-borne demons or Ashacke-borne angels, who can have skin tones of any colour, former humans retain their human skin tone, even in demonic form.
Prognosis
- Permanent. It is more a state of being than an illness.
Affected Groups
- Demons or Angels who were once human.
Hosts & Carriers
- Former human
Prevention
- Avoiding interacting with the infernal in life can prevent a human from ending up in Seryphorm. But you go up or down in the end.
History
- As long as humans have existed, they have all passed away and either gone up or down.
Cultural Reception
- Former Humans are often considered less than Seryphame-borne demons and are often lower in rank, only tertiary or secondary. Former human angels verses Ashacke-borne angels are in a similar boat, though less is known about the angelic caste system.
- Demons who used to be human make up approximately 22% of the population of Seryphorm compared to Seryphorme-Borne demons at 42% and non-demons at 36%.
- A human destined for Seryphorm is called Jaikelos and a demon who used to be human is called Serykelos.
- A human destined for Ashacke is called [TERM NOT FOUND] and an angel who used to be human is called [TERM NOT FOUND].
