The Heavy Handed Mead Flinger

In Blackrock Depths there are quite a few smiths also Dwarves who aspired to be smiths. A lot the greatest machines were produced here in Dark Iron history and most of the time were made by prolific smiths. But there was one siege engine that was made on a complete accident by a dwarf whose creations left a lot to be desired. This Dark Iron is named Ceana (or her preferred/fake name of Cairistìona) and she made one of the first machines that can hurl lava rocks (without destroying the machine in the process) but also to store them at their maximum temperature for hours on end. She made this machine when she was trying to make a mead dispenser, but instead she made a catapult that is three-fourths of the normal size of catapults.
This machine has been the base models for many of the catapults that the Dark Iron's have and the ones that the Alliance has now created when the Dark Iron joined the Alliance. It goes without saying that this prototype was not very impressive, considering it was made by a Dwarf whose creations are very basic at the least. You also will not see her name on any of the models for Ceana was convinced that this was a failed invention and when a Dwarf expressed interest in the machine, she just sold it for a measly thousand gold.
