Terent
Riverside city. It used to be a melting pot between Azaria and Esturia as it was right on the border of the two nations and thus they were quite lax about border control and very friendly. A lot of cultural cross-pollination occurred and it was considered a safe haven.
After the Age of Darkness, however, the strictly traditonal Glenford family took control and made many reforms, making it very more restricted, more in keeping with Azarian style and, let’s be honest, racist. Many former Esturians thus migrated to Bane as a result as they were demeaned and due to racial biases lost a lot of their properties and estates. As a result of the new restrictions Terent became less innovative, but maintained stability and its economy strengthened.
Thus it remains a strong trade hub in the north, and is the largest northern city.
