The Dregs found Tarner living in a shack near Innsmouth, his mind nearly gone from a combination of alcohol and proximity to N'helyxis, the kraken that was manipulating the area. After removing him from the area, his condition improved, but he will never again be the same man he was before. He lives at Hillpoint Keep, and acts as a servant to the group.
