N'helyxis

N'helyxis, a Kraken who has lived around Yorgen Reef near Innsmouth for unknown millennia, made a deal with Arild Hylde, granting him warlock magic and eternal youth in exchange for the souls of the people in the town he would come to found. Arild, later known as Gregor Hylde, taking on the personas of his own "descendants" so as not to arouse suspicion, directed fisherman a few at a time to the reef. The fishermen were transformed there by N'helyxis into Deep Scions. Through this painful process, N'helixys rose an army. Given Hylde's death, the Kraken may be looking for a new warlock. If only someone had caught his attention...
