Jannes is Avaelia Corrill's right-hand, and helped her carry out the Apocalypse From the Sky spells that destroyed Waterdeep, Oar's Rest, Velen and another city unrecognized by the Disaster Dregs. An accomplished graviturgist, Jannes wasn't powerful enough to prevent his death at the hands of the Dregs after Ava abandoned him at the Shrine of the Wrathful Host.
