A period of relative peace for the Kingdom's neighbors. Within the Kingdom were bouts of internal strife. Towns and cities would often engage in conflict with one another over resources and prestige. There were even attempts to overthrow Sol, and its related monarchy, as the political center of the Kingdom. The period ended with the consolidation of the Kingdom's resources into Sol. All other towns and cities became either resource gathering nodes or military encampments going into the next period of expansion.
Sol's population and stature swells to the point of becoming a city. This is also when ideologies within Helia turn away from an inward focus and towards the potential riches that lie beyond it. The state crowns its first King, and so becomes a Kingdom.

The Kingdom of Helia took advantage of Draethlin's weak military to quickly conquer the young Principality of Draethlin. Draethlin's weak military was a result of inept leadership.
The Draethlins enact their plans of violent rebellion across the city of Sol , but the rebellion was unsuccessful. The Kingdom of Helia was not content to suppress the uprising. A purge eliminated nearly everything Draethlin as a strong message to others. A few Draethlins survived to continue the Shadow Market, which evolved into a continental phenomena.
King Vimak III's bid to become the one to realize Helia's imperial destiny began with the conquest of the Principality of Avistar. The brutality of that campaign as well as the ones that followed earned Helia's armies the name "Golden Blight."
